You have the option of booking either a 4hr or 6 hr trip

What is provided vs. what I should bring?

Finology provides rods and tackle. However, you do have the option to bring your own gear.

Finology provides water and snacks, but please feel free to bring a small lunch bag with your favorite beverage or snack.

You should bring sunglasses (polarized are best), sunscreen, a hat, appropriate clothing (rain gear if necessary) and a cooler if you plan on keeping fish.

What if I've never fished before?

Guide trips are perfect for beginners, as Finology provides instruction on casting, lure selection, and locating fish.

Do I need a fishing License?

Yes. All persons fishing 16 yrs or older must have a valid sport fishing license.

Can I keep the fish?

Although catch and release is recommended to protect the fishery, you have every right to keep the fish that you catch.

Which lakes do I have the option to fish at?

Lakes available for trips include: Diamond Valley Lake, Lake Perris, Lake Skinner and Silverwood Lake.

Some San Diego County lakes may also be an option at certain times of the year.
