Finology Fishing Guide Services brings 40 years of fishing experience to every trip, combining local know-how with proven on-the-water strategy to help you have a fun, safe and memorable day.
You'll fish one of Inland Empire's beautiful Southern California lakes; Diamond Valley Lake, Lake Skinner, Lake Perris, Lake Elsinore or Silverwood Lake. Depending on the target for the day, you’ll fish from a 2025 Nitro Z19 equipped with FFS (Forward-Facing Sonar), giving you the advantage of modern electronics to find fish and make real-time adjustments as conditions change or a Nitro Z6 for targeting one of the toughest fighting fish around, Carp.
Finology can provide everything you need for a great day on the water. To keep things simple and stress-free, we can provide all rods and tackle you’ll need, or you also have the option to bring your tackle and gear if you so choose. We also supply water and snacks for the day—just show up ready to fish. These trips are tailored for the beginner fishermen/women, but also great for the experienced angler.
Trips can be tailored to target Largemouth Bass, Striper, Carp, and Trout, with destination options that vary by lake and season to match the best bite at the right time of year. *Trout trips are seasonal and not available year-round. Please contact us with questions.
What do you get with Finology Fishing Services?
We’re more than just a guide service. I’m not saying that I know these lakes better than the next person, or that I’m the best fisherman on the water. We also cannot obviously guarantee fish on every trip.
However, I will say that I know these waters well — Diamond Valley Lake, Skinner, Perris, Elsinore and Silverwood — and I take pride in helping anglers of all skill levels have a successful and enjoyable day on the water. Whether you’re looking to learn new techniques, dial in seasonal patterns, target specific species, or simply spend a great day fishing, I’ll do my best to put you in the right areas and share the knowledge I’ve gained from years of experience on these lakes. My goal is to make every trip productive, comfortable, and memorable from start to finish.
I would also say that whether you fish with me or not, when you connect me, whether on a trip, or DM, with me you get more than just a day on the water — you get honesty, integrity, and a lifelong connection in the fishing community. I believe in sharing real knowledge, building trust, and creating lasting friendships, so every trip is about more than catching fish; it’s about gaining a fishing network buddy you can count on for years to come. And I do not believe that you have to pay for a trip to share that knowledge.
I also believe that we need to grow this sport the right way and it begins with the children. As a father of 5, I understand what it takes to grow the sports of fishing and hunting. With that, children 15 yrs of age and under fish for free, becuase they are the future.That is what the fishing community should be about.
